A Message from the Artistic Director
Welcome and thank you for coming to the 11th Annual “Lamondance & Friends” Dance Gala - a celebration of our dance community.
For me, the shared value of a community starts with the sharing of benefits, such as care, respect, integrity, kindness, and maintaining a heart connection between people. Shared value is the foundation of community building within a family, school, organization or society. Once there is a heart connection, then inspiration, creativity, collaboration, and value creation for the good of the whole can manifest.
Today, through our LMDF vol.11 Dance Gala, we manifest our voices bringing together our dance community.
The show is not only allowing our dance community to share their powerful voices on stage with us but is also helping Lamondance to raise funds to support our scholarship and bursary programs. The scholarships and bursaries allow Lamondance to provide a unique cross-cultural experience to dancers in the program. This unique blend of Canadian and International dancers creates a dynamic contemporary dance company.
Lamondance Training and Performing Dance Company is a place where creativity has no limits. Over the past 14th years, Lamondance has helped dancers move into professional dance companies and programs locally and abroad. Through your continued support, we can move forward and build on the opportunities for aspiring dancers and choreographers to achieve their dreams.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating our success with this brilliant show full of incredible energy, creativity and passion with a broader creative community. The only way to keep the art alive is to work together, share our knowledge, create experiences and build dreams.
Thank you for being here today and supporting our Dance Community and Lamondance.
Enjoy the show.

A Message from the board of directors
Welcome to the exciting world of dance, where movement becomes a language and emotion takes shape in the form of graceful steps and powerful leaps. The stage is set for an evening of enchantment, as dancers from all over come together to showcase their talent and passion for this beautiful art form.
Lamondance is proud to present to you, Lamondance and Friends Vol. 11.
Dance has the power to transport us to another realm, to transcend boundaries and limitations, and to connect us to ourselves and to each other in ways that words cannot. It is a universal language that speaks to our souls and lifts our spirits, inviting us to experience the joys and sorrows of life through the fluidity of movement.
This dance show is a celebration of the diversity and creativity of the human spirit, as we witness a range of styles and genres, from classical ballet to contemporary fusion. Each performance is a unique expression of the dancer's individuality and interpretation of the music, as they weave a story through their movements, inviting us to join them on their journey.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the dancers, choreographers, and supporters who have made this evening possible. We hope that you will be inspired and moved by the beauty and power of dance, and that this show will leave a lasting impression on your hearts and minds.
So sit back, relax, and allow yourself to be swept away by the magic of dance. Let the music guide you, and let your imagination soar as we embark on a journey of creativity, expression, and artistry.
